Cancellation Policy
At Country Beauty, every appointment is thoughtfully booked just for you. As a sole trader working by appointment only in a rural area, late cancellations or changes often can’t be re-booked — which results in a direct loss of income and valuable time. To ensure fairness for both clients and the business, the following policy is in place: ⏰ 48-Hour Cancellation & Change Notice Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or make any changes to your appointment. This includes rescheduling, shortening, or removing any part of a treatment. Changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice (e.g. removing part of a service or reducing time) will still require payment in full for the original booked treatment. If there’s sufficient time available on the day, you're very welcome to upgrade your treatment or add additional services — just let me know when you arrive! Please treat your vouchers as if they were cash - the cancellation notice also applies to any voucher bookings. 💳 Late Cancellations (within 48 hours) Appointments £20 or under : 100% charge applies Appointments over £20: 50% charge applies This charge must be settled before any future appointments can be made. ❌ No-Shows & Same-Day Cancellations Missing your appointment without contact, or cancelling on the day, will be charged 100% of the booked service. Repeat no-shows may require full prepayment for future bookings. 🌿 Preparing for Your Appointment To get the best from your visit and help your appointment run smoothly, please: Arrive on time - I work by myself in the salon and do not have a receptionist so please do not arrive more than ten minutes before your treatment time. Let me know of any allergies, medical conditions, or service changes in advance Please be aware that the toilet facilities/treatment room is located up a flight of stairs therefore are not wheelchair accessible. Please do not bring guests or children unless pre-arranged 🛑 Emergencies & Flexibility I completely understand that emergencies and illness happen. Please contact me as soon as possible — I will always do my best to be understanding. 💼 Booking Terms Some bookings may require a secure card on file or deposit to confirm. No charges will ever be made without prior notice. All payment information is stored safely and securely. This policy ensures that every client receives the time, care, and attention they deserve.
